DakhaBrakha is a world-music quartet from Kyiv, Ukraine. Reflecting fundamental elements of sound, soul and Ukrainian folk, DakhaBrakha, meaning give/take, create a world of unexpected new music blending their traditional roots and instruments from other countries. Starting in 2004 at the Kyiv Center of Contemporary Art, their shows are chockful of scenic effects from their theatrical background.
