-The Edmonton International Airport is going to take part in the “Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program” to help people with hidden disabilities.
It’s an international program that provides sunflower branded items that passengers can discreetly wear to indicate they may need additional support, help, or simply more time.
Officials say invisible disabilities can be physical, mental or neurological, and passengers going through YEG can ask for a free and re-usable sunflower lanyard, wristband or ribbon to wear throughout their journey.
Those items will be available at the YEG Information booth on the Arrivals Level. (picture courtesy of YEG)
