-Edmonton police had a bizarre case on their hands this past Saturday night, as they were called to 116th Avenue and 96th Street about a man attacking vehicles with a sword. Doesn’t sound like anyone was hurt, and the suspect was arrested without a problem.

-A newborn baby was taken to the hospital as a precaution, after it was found abandoned yesterday afternoon in an apartment building around 129th Avenue and 65th Street. Edmonton police are investigating, but haven’t released any other information.

-Two 13-year olds are going to be in court in June, after being charged with lighting bales on fire in Parkland County. Fire officials say the fires happened Saturday, along Highway 16-A, west of Jennifer Heil Way in Spruce Grove. More than 100 hay bales were destroyed.

-RCMP are investigating, after a man’s body was found on a sidewalk in Lloydminster on Saturday. Police say they were called to the 53-hundred block of 50th Avenue, on the Saskatchewan side of the street. They’re hoping to speak with anyone who may have been in that area between 8am and 8pm on Saturday.
