Country Classics Show Song Listing!

Feb 13 , 2012
Category:

Wow, what a strange winter…but the dogs are loving it.  I’m afraid to even think about what our backyard is going to look like this spring but hey, you can either have great dogs or a great yard and we’ve got GREAT dogs!  Little Willa has really come out of her shell and we have full-contact, goofy wrestling matches between her and Chloe, complete with hilarious sound effects, on a daily basis now.  Who needs TV?

A fantastic 2012 kickoff show at Festival Place!  All the regulars plus special guests R. Harlan Smith, Chris Nielsen, Papa Joe Kozak, Eddie Chwill, Harry and Gladys Rusk, Jimmy Arthur Ordge and Laura Vinson played to two full houses on February 5th and a great time had by all.  Our next outing with the core group of Bev Munro, Joyce Smith, Alfie Myhre and Randy Hollar takes place March 11 at the Westlock Memorial Hall. Check out the show schedule tab at www.accml.com for more info.

Many times I have been asked if there is a listing of the songs that will be played on the Sunday “Country Classics” program  or contacted after a show for a particular song title.  Well I’m happy to say that I will do my best to provide a list of the upcoming week’s songs on this blog.  On occasion, I may give more than one week ahead (in case I’m going to be away) so check back often and please don’t shoot if I fall a little behind…Twy has already built us a pretty good “honey-do” list for this year!  Also, please note that, depending on the number of commercials scheduled for that day, one or more songs may be have to be cut short or deleted.  And thanks to Robert Borth of Guardian Drug in Killam, our sponsor, for his support of this program!

Thanks for all the kind comments and keep the great suggestions and requests coming.
